San Ferdinando, Chianti Podere Gamba 2022

San Ferdinando's estate is in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti region, where the Grifoni family have produced wine since 1998. They pride themselves on working the vines by hand, believing if they treat the vineyard like their garden then that attention to detail will shine through in their wines; we certainly agree with their philosophy. Chianti Podere Gamba 2022 is a blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Pugnitello, it has a nose of cherry, liqourice root and coffee, which seamlessly blends into a palate of ripe forest fruits and sweet tobacco. A totally organic, silky-soft and incredibly authentic Chianti; it's a cracking wine to have with a pizza.
